Apecchio, at 5km from the agriturismo, is a quiet village with a charming medieval centre, full of interesting nooks and crannies. It offers all the usual necessary facilities and services: a variety of shops including supermarkets; chemist, doctor; post office, bank; bars and restaurants; tennis courts. Apecchio’s National Museum of Fossils, The Ubaldini Palace, and the natural springs providing sulphurous water, are all recommended.
